I’m happy to introduce you to this publication's new logo and colors. This cute little robot doesn’t have a name yet, so feel free to propose any names for it. I promise I’ll consider all of them! 😆 (but let’s keep them non-binding haha)

Share your ideas with me on Twitter 🙌 I’m considering some kind of prize for the one I like more. As you know, I like to run small contests like this one every now and then. I also like to be generous, so stay tuned and use the chance to follow me 🙋‍♂️

The logo has been generated using Midjourney, following the new AI trend. I’ve been playing a lot and having so much fun with this tool lately, so I thought it’d be perfect to create the newsletter and course assets from now on.

This is the prompt I used, in case you wanna try it:

“cute Android logo writing a book with a pen in a easy vector style, Android green color, purple background png, purple background, sticker, white border sticker, happy, glowing lights, magical, dreamy, no watermark, 8k, high detail, high resolution, comics, inking, graffiti art, graphic, golden ratio composition, 8k, purple background solid color, no watermark, intricate detail, high resolution --v 4 --q 2 --ar 1:1”

I generated a few additional options so they can show up in random places in this newsletter, so you’ll have plenty of time to get familiar with it.

About the new color. Well, this newsletter didn’t really have a branding color yet, so it felt like a natural step in the right direction. Especially given how quickly the number of subscribers is growing lately (welcome everyone!). And of course, I picked purple 😈

I also want to redesign some of the image assets for the newsletter posts, in order to make everything more coherent with the new branding color. For now, it’s only the CTAs, but hey, it’s a start 🚀

The online course will also start getting new on-brand assets gradually. About this, here’s a considerable price cut for the next 10 people registering:

💸 Jetpack Compose course at its cheapest price ever
